Introducing Loupe™ and the Model Store: AI Analysis for the Clinical Photos You Already Take
Fri Oct 16 2026
Today we’re launching Loupe™, an AI analysis workspace for clinical photos, and the Model Store. Run models like Face Nexus on the photos you already take, and ask questions in plain language.
Today we’re launching Loupe™ and the Model Store. They add AI analysis to ImageAssist, the clinical photography platform for plastic surgery, dermatology, vein care and medical aesthetics.
Read the press release.Practices take photos at every visit. Most of that value sits unused. Loupe changes that.
What is Loupe?
Loupe™ is the AI analysis workspace built into ImageAssist. Open a patient’s photos. Run a model, or ask a question about them in plain language, the way you would with a chat assistant.
It all happens inside the same HIPAA-compliant platform where your photos already live. No exports. No second tool.
Two models are live today
Face Nexus compares before-and-after photos and measures visible change in facial age and wrinkles between visits. It was developed by Dr. Orr Shauly of Emory University School of Medicine. For a medspa or aesthetic practice, that means a consult built on a result the patient can see, not on memory or a good angle.
Cipher removes protected health information (PHI) from photo sets, so they can be shared and used for training and research with privacy built in. It was built by a team at Vanderbilt Health.
Both models support aesthetic analysis and privacy. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or condition. Loupe supports your clinical judgment. It does not replace it.
The Model Store
Think of the Model Store as an app store for clinical visual models. Every model that joins runs on the photos your practice already captures. Over time, that means new ways to engage patients and measure outcomes across plastic surgery, dermatology, vein care, wound care, dentistry and medical aesthetics. We expect to add models for more areas of the face and body, including lips, breast and dental analysis.
Loupe and the models in the Model Store are tools for measuring and comparing clinical photos. They give an objective view of visible change, such as before-and-after results, and support photo workflows in the practice. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or condition. They do not replace a clinician’s judgment, and clinicians remain responsible for decisions about patient care.
Build the next model with us
We’re opening the Model Store to partners.
- Model partners. Have a model? Publish it in the Model Store and put it in front of practices already using ImageAssist.
- Data partners. Have a well-documented photo library and an idea? We’ll work with you to turn that data into a model, built and delivered through ImageAssist.
Try Loupe
Loupe and the Model Store are available now to ImageAssist customers. Existing customers can ask us to turn Loupe on for their practice. New to ImageAssist? Book a demo and we’ll show you.
We’re also at Plastic Surgery The Meeting in Houston, Oct. 16 to 18. Come find us at Booth 1115.
